Excursion ideas

Our guided excursions are nice long cycle rides taking in the best Britain has to offer. Excursions can last from a half day up to several days. We offer one-way excursions, luggage transportation and pickup/drop off at hotels, businesses or special locations.

Central London

The London Bicycle Tour Company covers much of central London with our range of open and private tours throughout the week. West London offers the most well-to-do end of the city, with wide open spaces, royal palaces and some of the country's most exclusive destinations. To the East, our tours take you over Tower Bridge, exploring the old City of London and its mercantile history.

While these are popular and serve many of the best-known sights of Central London, we can arrange more specialised tours along many different themes, including food, fashion, architecture, transport, and infrastructure. Each of these themes has a unique history within London, with many surprising stories to tell.

The Olympic legacy

Following the London 2012 Olympic Games, the changes to east London make it seem unrecognisable from what it was before. Stratford holds memories for visitors to the games, and today the Olympic Park still feels futuristic, acting as a destination for sports of every description. Excursions from Central London to the Olympic Park in are popular with Londoners and tourists alike, cycling east along the river to visit a range of dining, shopping, and leisure venues. Above it all, the Orbit stands 114m tall, offering a viewing platform and the capital's largest slide!

Parks, castles, and a countryside feel

West London is often described as "leafy", from the world-leading botanical gardens at Kew, to the parks of Hampton Court Palace - a riverside retreat for the notorious king Henry VIII. This excursion would take you to along the path of the UK's famous boat race, through charming suburbs that feel more like an English country village. Alternatively, set a course for Richmond Park, London's largest park and the home of a wild deer herd.

Traditional British fish and chips

Fish and chips are a traditional British dish regularly enjoyed throughout the country. Two of London’s best-tasting fish and chip restaurants will welcome London Bicycle Tour Company guests on days out.

Fancy dress

If you have something to celebrate, why not make a bit of a scene? We offer tours with fancy dress costumes. We can dress up your guide as a pirate, have everyone wear hats and style a ride through London you’ll never forget. We also partner with a pub crawl company for some London night out adventures.. great for the young (and young at heart!)
