Destination London - with E-bikes

We had a fantastic time on the London Classic Landmarks Bike Tour with The London Bicycle Tour Company. Our group was 2 adults, 2 children (aged 9 and 11), plus a family friend, and it was a brilliant way to experience the city. Even though my husband and I lived in London for 14 years, we still learned plenty of new and interesting facts. The meeting point was easy to get to, and we were surprised by how quickly we reached Westminster, our first stop. George was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, relaxed and great fun. He kept everyone engaged, including the kids, and the pace was perfect. A stop at a local pub for a drink and a packet of crisps was a lovely touch and added to the experience. If you're looking for a fun and informative way to see London's iconic landmarks, we'd highly recommend this tour.

What a great experience. Getting this a sense of London and where everything is and how relates can actually be achieved when you are cycling around with a Guide. George did an excellent job looking after our group and ensuring our safety as well as telling endless stories. Definitely well worth it and great value.

My friends and I ( total in group 5 women ) took the tour. It had been raining off and on all day so we were a bit apprehensive but it turned out to be one of the best memories I have from London. Carey was out guide and he took us places we would never had known about, and stopped here and there to give us a description that only a local could. He was kind and careful and we loved the neighborhoods he took us too.

We had an excellent tour around the main sights of the East end of London with Jordi. He was an amazing guide, knowing lots of cut throughs and interesting facts about the rich history of the area. Jordi was a superb guide - he kept the trip moving along nicely and showed a wide variety of the sights, sounds and smells of the big city. I would highly recommend this trip - and the e-bikes were lovely!

Our family of four (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 tween) had such a great time. George was a great guide, full of energy and information and really able to pivot as needed (my daughter got a flat early on, and big events in the city on the day of our tour meant the usual route had to be altered a few times). We felt like we got to cover a lot of ground, and we all enjoyed it.

What a wonderful way to experience the highlights of London with the limited time we had. We were going to tour London via the hop on/off bus but after reading some negative reviews we decided on the bike tour. Wow are we glad we did! Ian was such a great tour guide, and we stopped at all the highlights at the right times. He explained the history of where we stopped, and it was just enough information that we needed. He was enthusiastic, funny and very pleasant. We biked through all the crowds at the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace and saw it all up close. That was a highlight for us that while all the crowds were standing behind the gates, we were allowed to bike through the crowds on the road. We only had a group of 4 in our tour because we booked very last minute and it was fantastic because it went faster and we didn't need to wait for a large group of cyclists to catch up. The length of time of the tour was perfect, and we got in some exercise versus sitting on a bus. Highly recommend this tour and company.

This was a great tour. Tim was an excellent guide and made sure we all were safe all the time. He gave us lots of time to take photos and gave us extra fun information about local happenings. We were a little late, and they waited for us and we appreciated that. The person he had for the back was also a great idea. We felt safe all the time.

Wir hatten eine private Tour für vier Personen mit unserem deutschsprachigen Guide Birgit. Die Tour war super. Auf Empfehlung von Birgit haben wir E-Bikes genommen. Das war eine gute Entscheidung. Birgit konnte uns daher über die reguläre Tour hinaus viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zeigen. Sie hat alles richtig gut mit viel Leidenschaft erklärt und gezeigt. Wir können Birgit als Tour/Guide nur empfehlen. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Emily was our guide and she did an amazing job getting us all through the streets of London. She had some really great stories and anecdotes which made the tour fun and interesting. Would definitely do again! This tour doesn't go into anything, just looks at several landmarks from the outside but the guides tell you what's worth it and what's not if you choose to come back!

Loved it. Great route and timing. Loved the guide. I would have liked a little more history but then the tour would have been too long. The bikes could use an upgrade but then it would have cost more…so again, 5 stars. Very good.

He showed us beautiful places around the city that we would never have discovered on our own, and his stories really brought London’s history to life. The tour was well organized, relaxed, and a lot of fun. We also really appreciated that electric bikes are available — this made the tour comfortable and accessible for everyone, regardless of fitness level. As Dutch visitors, we found George’s English very clear and easy to understand. We definitely did not miss having a Dutch-speaking guide! We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore London in an active, enjoyable, and personal way.

Kleine Gruppe, überwiegend flache Strecke, gute Geschwindigkeit. Für alle Fitnesslevel geeignet. Cary war ein super Tourguide. Er hat sich Zeit genommen und viel Interessantes erzählt, auch spannende Hintergrundinfos. Klare Empfehlung.

Nous avions réservé un tour guidé en français mais il y a eu un imprévu nous avons du prendre le tour en anglais... Le guide Dominic a fait un merveilleux travail il c'est assuré que nous passions une belle visite très sympathique et très bonne connaissance de sa ville il s'est assuré que nous comprenions bien et que nous passions un bon moy

Fun, active way to see London landmarks

We got lucky and had a brilliant sunny day for our tour. Kim, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging. He was prepared to answer every question, but was also relaxed and followed the interests of our little group. The bicycles were easy to ride and the route took us past many noteworthy sites and interestingly quirky places to stop. Traffic was also not too daunting, because the route was well-planned. Highly recommended as a way to visit London highlights.
